  • What is a credit score?

    By definition, Aacredit score is a numerical expression based on a level analysis of a person's credit files, to represent the creditworthiness of an individual. A credit score is primarily based on a credit report, information typically sourced from credit bureaus. 

  • What is considered good credit?

    Good credit is something that everyone is after. Any credit score below 670 is not good, and there is a huge difference between Good and Fair credit (especially in terms of interest rates). Even this minor difference between Good and Fair can impace you thousands of dollars on an auto or home lone. 

  • How long does credit repair take?

    There is no one size fits all time period. The truth is it depends on many factors that need to be considered. For example: How many negative irems are on your credit report? Are their bankruptcies or charge-offs? What is the age and amount of the debt...and other factors.

  • What determines my credit score?

    Your credit score is reported to the credit bureaus (Equifax, Transunion, and Experian). Things that affect your credit score are: Debt to income ration, amount of credit, age of credit history, late payments or missed payments, bankruptcy, and more. All these factors are accounted into an algorithem that prodices your FICO score, or credit score. 

  • What is a FICO score?

    By definition, a FICO Score is a three-digit number based on the information in your credit reports. It helps lenders determine how likely you are to repay a loan. 

  • How do I dispute items on my credit report?

    By law you are able to dispute any claims on your credit report that you believe to be in error. It could be the amount reported is wrong, or that you never had the debt they (the credit bureaus) are reporting. A written or online dispute form is created and the bureaus have a set amount of time to either verify (keep the negative item) or remove. If a response if not given in a timely manner then the item must be removed. Sometimes this can take multiple letters and attempts.
